Youth action towards media

The challenge is to use media or to create alternative solutions to inform, sensitize, mobilize people in a community, and a larger audience, on the MDGs and issues regarding youth and sustainable development.

We want to encourage and support young people, all around the world, to develop initiatives to mobilize media and inform people about the Millennium Development Goals and youth projects:

  • Issue tracking, press cuts, reports,…
  • Documentaries, spots, TV and radio programmes
  • Creation of alternative solutions to inform people about the MDGs (drama, caravan show, etc.)

This website propose:

  • Support and training on relation with the press and the media (how to write a press release. How to create a youth magazine,…)
  • Support and training on public relations (how to speak in front of a public audience,…)
  • Support and training in finding and elaborating alternative solutions
  • Guidelines and scenario for a documentary on the pilot phase
  • A permanent forum will give young people the possibility to exchange their views and initiatives.
